Fun Run poem

Cross country poem As I stand at my place with a shy red face for today is the day that I run at a fast pace. Already and set to make my way, with a loud clank!!! that makes me bang as I ran out the gates and into the streets. I feel the sun in my veins with burning pain. I come to the hill, for the hill you see, the hill is so high that it makes me flee I run up that hill in 5 seconds flat. As I run down the path and nearly come to an end I feel myself fall like melting ball. I try my best to stay on the run I’am almost there. As I get to the end I hear the crowd is cheering for me So I run and run and pass the line which makes me think of how I did so fine. THE END By Thomas This is my poem on the fun run I did

My Speech

Why School Is Important Education What is it ? Well I’ll tell you what it is, it is a goal that everybody wants to achieve,education is the goal that needs to be accomplished. Do you know that nearly some kids in schools don’t want to go to school for no reason at all well that is why I am here. I am here to persuade those kids minds who think school is a waste of time into thinking why it’s important to come to school for you and your life I strongly believe that every child in the world has the right to learn. No one has the right to interfere with somebody else learning, who knows where education would take you, education can teach you some things that you never knew about before, it can teach you about Animals the food chain and other sort of extraordinary things . Education can accomplish anything that you dream of becoming, if you study hard enough then you know that you have reached your goal of fulfilling whatever it is you want to become In the future. You might be able to teach kids about the things that people taught you when you were young and they could teach you the things about their education maybe one of your dreams is becoming a teacher, but who knows there are a lot of opportunities out there in the big wide world for you to become. if you just work hard enough with education it can takes you any where you dream of going. Graduating from university or college could be one of the goals that you dream of achieving.maybe if you achieve your goal you could come to the dream job that you wanted to work for in years you could even become a boss of your own company.Graduating is going to be a lot of studying if you want to graduate, even making your company I wonder how long it would take you to make it?but I know one thing and that is the key to a better future is education. there is nothing in the way of stopping you to what you want to become. but who knows it is the path that you pick to take. remember the key to a better future is always education.if you want to graduate you would have to study hard and when you get to the time you get that job all that studying would have payed off so the more you study the closer you get to your dream job that you want to become Do you recently get asked this question? what would you like to become when you grow up do you think you could be able to answer that. what would you like to become did you have a dream of ever becoming a doctor a therapist or a travel the world for a living do you think you could reach that goal.As you get older you learn new things along the way and when the we get to the to the year when we all have jobs think about how you got there how you achieved it think about your educatipn,but if you were one of the children who thought that education was a waste of time think about how you would get a job how you cold acomplish it. think about how struggling It would be for you. and that is why I say to never ever drop out of school because if you do then think about how hard it would be for you to get a job. So if you think that school is a waste of time think of how struggling it would be for you to get a job or even get a life. So those are my reasons for why I think school is important and why you should come to school every single day thank you

Blue burd

Blue bird One day there was a bird , a blue bird that was sitting on a tree while it was sitting on the tree it looked down at a lonely boy the boy was getting bullied by some kids.While the blue bird was watching the boy he noticed that he was feeling sad real sad . When the bell rang the bird was watching the boy walk home the bird started to follow him the bird flew right over the boy the boy noticed that blue bird flew over him he started to smile I think that the lonely boy just made a new friend. As the boy walked he stopped at a shop to grab a little something from , he came out with a delicious cookie the bluebird was tempted by the way it looked the boy looked down at the bluebird, he noticed that the bluebird was glaring at his cookie so he shared some. Then the boy started to run and run the bird followed the boy came to a corner and hid behind a cafe the boy peeked out to look for the bird and he saw that the bird was right in front of him . The boy walked into a park the bird landed on the boys shoulder the boy seemed to have a big smile on his face when the bird landed on him it was as if the bird gave the boy confidence to him.The boy was so happy that he made new friends with other kids that he met at the park they played with toy boats from that time on the boy and the bird did nearly everything together. they both left the park and walked into a dark forest until the boy had a worried look on his face up ahead he could see some bullies there was no turning back now .one of the bullies walked up to the lonley boy and tried to take the boat off him he managed to get away then one of the bullies picked up a stick and threw it at the boy but out of nowhere the bird sacrificed himself for the boy .As the boy ran he looked backed and stopped he saw that his best friend on the ground dead as the bullies and the boy looked at the bird the bullies could feel guilt in them and they just ran of. As the boy stood there crying with his only friend in his arms crying in the dark forest, something happened a bird came but it was not blue this time it was red then there was another one then another until a lot of kind of different coloured birds were there. It looked as if it was a water full full of colors then they all started to fly high up in to the sky until the lonely boy could see the whole city then blue bird stood up in his hands and flew away until he was out of his best friends sight THE END. The storm

The storm of June 2014 On Wednesday the 11th at home with my family watching the shocking News’’ about the storm but I,m then ready to sleep but wait I can hear chattering trees dripping rain. Midnight all windy and cold can’t see a thing strong wind black clouds .Next cold Morning little twigs and sticks all over the street and drive through even frost on the grass watery windows look over at the neighboured looks ok streets all clear white clouds sun shining bright not a big storm as the good thing was that our roof didn’t come off.As I drive up the corner I can see bent trees and wet footpaths as I come to school it is a little rain on the court I can see kids talking about last night's storm and I also hear really bad news from others say that they had a bad storm .But the shocking thing that I was so surprised that I slept through the strongest storm in New Zealand but it was ok. Writing sample term 2 2014 28 May The person in the whole world that is always their for me is my loving Mum she always has a big smile on her face ready to hug me in her arms she’s like an Angel sent from heaven the way her long silky black hair comes down to her shoulder it always smells like a lovely scent of fruit . she is always encouraging me to do the best at school she's the one to always go to when I am feeling sad she will just give when she was young I love the way that she tells me stories about what she did and about when I was young and the thing that I like about her is that she works at May road School so she could look out for me and brother.I have a huge family and I have fun with them but not as fun as my Mum she is always trying to get the best for me in my Education but the thing that matters is that I learn at school.At the end of the year she wants me to get an award and I will learn hard but the thing that matters is that she loves me and I love her.when I get home from school she would always say how was’’ school she will always keep me warm by giving me a great big hug and give me a kiss on my cheek. And when I grow up she will wants me to get a good job and I thank her for doing those things for me. This is a piece of descriptive writing about my favourite person.
